Who does the Prosecutor represent?
The Prosecutor represents the State of Ohio, not individual citizens. While victims and community members are important to the process, the Prosecutor’s duty is to seek justice on behalf of the public.

No. The Prosecutor’s Office cannot provide legal advice to private individuals or represent them in personal legal matters. If you need legal advice, you should contact a private attorney.
